Inspiration From Wayne Cox's "Wayne's Weather Window".
Wayne Cox of Global BC news is a legend when it comes to British Columbian’s, there is no doubt.
If you ask most people on the streets of BC, they'd say they know who Wayne is because he’s known as the weather man who calculates how nice the day is with Hawaiian shirts. He says he is often asked, “How many Hawaiian shirts today Wayne?” It must get a little old for him, but it is fun for the public I am sure.
Another thing Wayne is known for is his Weather Window. This is where each day British Columbians can send him a picture of somewhere in BC and he’ll decide on a winning photo everyday.
In addition to a daily winner, he’ll then decide on Friday the best picture of the week and give away prizes.
So with inspiration from Wayne Cox I have started a photo galley for BC boaters called, “Steve’s Snap Shots”.
If you have a picture from on your boat, on the dock, from your cabin or any pictures of BC's beautiful waters? Just upload your picture and I will make sure Wayne has a look.
How can you upload your picture to Steve's Snap Shots?
- Create a user account. Click here. (Takes about 30 seconds.)

- Upload an image from your computer and put it in the Image Gallery called "Steve's Snap Shots" .
Here's a link to view Steve's Snap Shots that were sent to Wayne.
